Job Highlights
Innovator is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will work closely with the accounting and finance team to ensure accurate financial records, compliance with regulatory standards, and timely expense and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes and review financial reports for insights into the company's performance and health
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, and prepare journal entries to ensure accurate reporting
  • Review and approve employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies, accuracy of expenses, and appropriate documentation
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
  • Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and support as needed by the finance team and management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) and accounting software
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical and communications skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
  • CPA or progress towards CPA certification is a plus
